i was 16 in 77...at that time there was not even vhs video around...the only chance to see bands like aerosmith was on tv in assorted shows...there were only 3!!! channels at that time....germany sucked at this time...maybe it still sucks today...the only good thing on getting older is that you are now more connected with the world..

Joe wasn't supposed to be a contributing singer. Steven shared the mic with Brad as well. In their studio stuff from the 70's you only hear Steven. His moving around made it possible. Joe didn't start singing as primary till the Joe Perry Project.

Yeah I get that. I've heard him sing in the JPP and he's actually good. However, in this vid he is missing notes in a range any trained baritone would easily hit. So it's not a range problem it was just a training problem back then. I'm sure it would be no problem for him today. And even this performance still rocks mega, joe is just cool.
